Elec-Trak Gathering

There will be a very special Elec-Trak gathering this summer: Former OPEO employees are coming together for a 40th reunion AND all current Elec-Trak owners and fans are invited!

Mr. Bruce Laumeister, former General Manager of the Outdoor Power Equipment Operation (OPEO), has graciously invited all current Elec-Trak owners to a "40th" Year Reunion of the original OPEO Elec-Trak team of General Electric (1969-1974). This event will be held at the Bennington Center for the Arts in Bennington, Vermont on July 28th, 2012, less than an hour and a half from the old Elec-Trak plant in Scotia, NY.

This will be a combined event, including areas for the OPEO employees to gather, an "instant museum" made possible by the collective effort of the attendees with a full array of Elec-Trak models, accessories, and literature, and a swap meet/dealer area.

George Beckett, an avid Elec-Trak collector, is coordinating the event and would appreciate an RSVP to geo@myelec-traks.com from anyone planning to attend (bag lunch included).

In particular, George is working hard to coordinate the various pieces of equipment different folks are able to bring for display. He asks that you RSVP in one of the following ways, by July 1st if at all possible:

• Download the RSVP chart in Excel, fill it out on your computer, and e-mail the updated file to to geo@myelec-traks.com [preferred method]
• View the RSVP chart as a web page, print it out, fill in by hand, scan and email to geo@myelec-traks.com
• You may also return by FAX or postal mail. Call 540-941-1005 for details of these options
